COMPASS Training Tool
This project involved a creating a training toolkit for public health professionals. It walks through three phases of resources surrounding how people in public health fields can work with others outside of their jurisdiction. In simple terms: it's a guide to collaboration.
I worked within a UX role and a content strategy role on this project. Though the client provided all of the written content, it was my task to audit that content and to map it across an intuitive user flow. The end result pared down a dense amount of content into a digestible, accessible format (especially for people familiar with the topic.)
Along with paring down the resources, I also helped develop an interactive assessment component for this toolkit. At the start of each phase of the toolkit, the assessment would look at well versed users were in a range of topic areas. This would essentially help filter out resources and steps that users already understood — and it would highlight those resources from areas they might not know as well.
