The short and sweet of me

I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in public relations and a background in Russian and counseling—three things that I'm no longer connected to professionally. But they all had a part in teaching me that this life is all about people. And most importantly, doing right by them. 

Today, I work in content design. To say people are important to my work is quite the understatement. Time and time again I’ve seen the importance of knowing the wants and needs of your users, as well as understanding how they use your products. Throughout my time as a journalist and a counselor, I learned how to ask questions that truly matter—to me, to my product and to the people who may someday use it. 

Outside of work, I'm a lifelong metalhead and a huge fan of video games. I don't know how either of those came to be, but hey. They’re a part of what I love and I wouldn’t change it for anything. When I'm not at home, you can usually find me out on a run or exploring one of Seattle’s countless urban trails.
